Academic background:

I trained in France as a Clinical Psychologist in a range of therapeutic models and specialised in adult mental health and as a systemic family therapist working with Families, Groups and Organisations during a crisis situation. I moved to the UK 20 years ago and worked for the NHS where I completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT at Royal Holloway University of London in 2010.

I provide evidence based interventions including CBT, Trauma Focussed CBT and EMDR and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I specialised further in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and I'm an accredited practitioner and EMDR Europe Consultant Supervisor. 

Career:

I worked in an Acute Assessment Team and in secure in-patient settings, as part of multidisciplinary teams testing and treating adults and older adults individually and in groups. I worked in physical health services and carried out research in this field.

I spent a year in an Oncology Service setting up psychology provision and offered psychological support to patients, families and the team. I trained as a systemic family therapist and provided therapy to families in various settings.

I have 15 years of experience working within the NHS in Primary care services and I have contributed to the development of Primary care services aiming to Improve Access to Psychological Therapy for those in need. 

I attended specialist supervision training throughout my career and I have extensive experience in supervising clinicians within the NHS, at University, schools and charities within my private practise. 

Clinical Expertise:

I treat common mental health disorders after attending specialist training in treating depression, a range of anxiety disorders, grief, PTSD and complex trauma. I offer Mindfulness based interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR. I have expertise in providing systemic interventions to families. I also provide clinical supervision to professionals, teams and non statutory and statutory services.
